The Hen house continued

Pup worked on the hen house again today. After a few detours it ended up being exactly what I had in mind. He deserves a trophy for working out in the heat while being bombarded by deer flies, horse flies & mosquitoes! I get eaten up every time I go outside. What the heck is the deal? They are awful this year....or are they every year and I just block it from my memory?

Ah well, the chicks seem to love the "2 Story Shabby Chic House" and are roosting in it already. We need to get hay to go in it before they start laying.

This is a good picture of the floor of the Hen house. It has wire all along the bottom and the wooden part is where the nesting boxes will be. There will eventually be hay or bedding of some sort in them.

The garden was looking pretty good. We got a good rain yesterday so I didn't water anything. Here is one of the Bell  peppers that has popped out.

We got in the nasty green pool and wiped it down good. Can we all say a great big EW! If we can't get it clear in the next day or two it is getting drained and refilled. I'm tired of fighting with it. Keep your fingers crossed that we wake up to a crystal clear pool! Okay I'd be happy if it just was not such a yukky green. We might be making a trip to get more chemicals tomorrow.

Wish I had felt up to going to the Derby tonight. I hope our Roller Girls kicked ass!

Night All!
