When I arrived home I went over to check on the chicks before I even brought my purse in the house. The whole flock ran to the door of the coop like they had been waiting for days for someone to show up and feed them. I went and put my purse up and fed them. They ate like they had not eaten in days. Starving! Please note that there was food in their feeders before I added any more.
Pup & Raymond went to Raymond's house and gathered 2 garbage bags full of long dried grass Raymond had cut with his tractor. We will use that in the hen house for bedding. I think it will be perfect!
I went out on the deck to check the pool out. It is finally clearing up and is no longer green! YAY! Topper was out there relaxing and I had to take some pictures of him.
His favorite spot. He seems comfortable there. I thought he was going to roll over on his back and let me rub his belly!
